Lillian Eleanora Meints, 91, died on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Her memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 3, 2024 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls, SD with her family present to greet friends for visitation beginning at 1 PM.

Grateful for having shared her life are her two children, Deb (Doug) Peterson and, Sioux Falls, SD, and Dan (Lynn) Meints, Sioux Falls, SD; four grandchildren, Jason (Kelsey) Peterson, Jamie (Nick) Owens, Morgan (fiancé Brian Keeler) Meints, and Courtney (Zach) Auch; great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Conrad, Porter, Harper and Cameron; one sister, Ruth Mechling, Sturgis, SD; sister-in-law, Bonnie Thompson, Garden Grove, CA; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Meints; her parents, Albert and Claranca (Oldervik) Thompson; brother, Ted Thompson; and brother-in-law, Robert Mechling. A more complete obituary is available at .
